I have had the pleasure of working with David twice. What I like about him the most is that when you, as the director, speak to him and exchange ideas, he understands what you want, consciously or not, and delivers. Not only is David versatile as an actor, but also an easygoing guy which makes the experience fun and the outcome satisfactory. I looked for a great actor. When I was first introduced to David Chant, I was thinking can this guy play the character from a script I wrote ' DOG EAT CAT', though the movie has yet to be made -- but in the early stages -- when I heard David act out his part --- I was shocked to see how good this guy really was -- Now I am not just saying this but he bought the character to another level.

Why I enjoy working with David is that he is one of those rare young talents that not only gives out his ideas to make his character KICK ASS! but also contributes to the script adding his own input which to be honest is excellent.

I have done numerous independent movies and commercials and have always used David Chant to play the main role.

I am a huge fan of David Lynch and wanted to create my own David lynch Style which I called Self Art. It is based on a painting of the great surrealist artist Salvador Dali and YOU GUESSED IT! the main star is David Chant -- again he gave in his professional input and the output came out as planned -- everybody was happy.

So in conclusion, David Chant is and will always be a pleasure to work with and hopefully I will get to work with him on new projects that I am working on. Dan A Newton 2009
